“Safety hints sharing” 


  1. These regulations of the “Safety hints sharing” contest, hereinafter referred to as “Regulations”, define the course and organization of the Contest, the rules for selecting the best Contest tasks, the rights and obligations of the Organizer and other relevant provisions. 
  1. The Organizer of the Contest is ELECTRIC VAULT SPÓŁKA Z OGRANICZONĄ ODPOWIEDZIALNOŚCIĄ with its registered office in Warsaw, ul. Prosta 70, 00-838 Warsaw, Poland, entered into the Register of Entrepreneurs kept by the District Court for Warsaw in Warsaw, XIII Commercial Division of the National Court Register under No. 0000861440, NIP: 1182213907 
  1. The Sponsor of the awards is ELECTRIC VAULT SPÓŁKA Z OGRANICZONĄ ODPOWIEDZIALNOŚCIĄ with its registered office in Warsaw, ul. Prosta 70, 00-838 Warsaw, Poland, entered into the Register of Entrepreneurs kept by the District Court for Warsaw in Warsaw, XIII Commercial Division of the National Court Register under No. 0000861440, NIP: 1182213907 
  1. Activities related to conducting the Contest on behalf of the Organizer, such as announcing and adjudicating the Contest, are carried out by the Organizer. The Organizer will deal with any complaints and will be responsible for the transfer of the Contest prize.  
  1. These Regulations are a promise of a public contest prize. 
  1. The Contest is not adjudicated by chance, hence the Contest is not a game of chance. Granting of a prize is based on a set of subjective criteria set by the Organizer. 
  1. The Contest may be entered by a participant who: 
  • is 18 years of age at the latest on the day the Contest takes place or older if the country of their residence require older age for participation in the Contest; 
  • has full legal capacity; 
  • has an active Facebook account before receiving the award and has a Bitcoin Vault gold wallet;  
  • has performed the Contest task described in the Regulations; 
  • has accepted the terms of the Regulations.
  1. A person may not participate in the Contest: 
  • if they are employed (including contracts under civil law) by the Organizer/Sponsor or indirectly by another entity related to the Organizer/Sponsor, by an entity related to Organizer/Sponsor are understood, in particular, entities from the same capital group or with strong personal relations (e.g. where the same person seats in the management board of such companies); 
  • if they are a representative of the Organizer/Sponsor or other entities related to the Organizer/Sponsor, 
  • if they are a spouse, ascendant, descendant, adoptive parent, adopted, sibling, other relative or affinity up to the second degree of persons listed in the Regulations.
  1. Rules for the conduct of the Contest: 
  • In order to take part in the Contest, a Contest task must be performed by the participant (“Task”), i.e.: the participant should describe in writing in an interesting manner a situation where they committed an error or encountered obstacles while trying to execute a transaction relating to crypto assets (any crypto assets) in the Internet.  
  • The participant may only submit Tasks that were prepared by themselves and that concern their personal experience. 
  • The Tasks may be submitted to Organizer from 15.11.2021 12:00 UTC.  
  • The end of the Contest is not specified. The Organizer reserves the right to terminate the Contest, i.e. stop the possibility to submit Tasks, at any time but no earlier than 30th of November 2021. 
  • To participate in the Contest, participant must fill the form through https://btcv.com/safety-hints-sharing and provide information such as: Twitter Account, Transaction ID, Task; the data shall be treated by Organizer as confidential and shall be used just for checking by the Organizer authenticity of the story presented by the participant; 
  • The participants may send several applications; 
  • The BTCV brand board reserves the right to publish selected content from among the proposals and publications sent at any time 
  • Organizer reserves the right to select the Task that it considers the most interesting based on its subjective criteria. The participant that submitted such Task will be awarded with a prize in amount of 10 BTCV (“Prize”). 
  • Organizer will award at least one participant with the Prize. The Organizer reserves the right to award more participants with the Prize at its own discretion. 
  • The participant that is awarded the Prize gives permission to identify them with their name and surname as authors of the Tasks on the websites and in other media where the Tasks will be published. The Participant is aware that the Tasks may be published, in particular, on Organizer’s websites, sent by Organizer by email to the mailing lists recipients and in social media.; 
  • As a transaction hash/ id participant of BTCV contest understand a unique string of characters that is given to every transaction that is verified and added to the blockchain; 
  • The Prize will be sent to the winning participant (contest winner)on their Bitcoin Vault (BTCV) Gold Wallet address upon submission to the Organizer this particular information. The participant is responsible for indicating correct BTCV Gold Wallet address and acknowledges that in case the Prize is sent to a wrong wallet due to participant’s mistake the transaction will be irreversible and the Organizer will not be obliged to send the Prize to another wallet.; .
  1. The content of the Tasks must not: 
  • incite or approve of violence against living creatures; 
  • promote any totalitarian system of the state; 
  • incite or approve of hatred on the basis of religious, national, ethnic and racial differences; 
  • insult or defame a group of the population or a particular person because of their national, ethnic, racial or religious affiliation; 
  • be chauvinistic, misogynistic or sexist, irrespective of gender, or based on sexual discrimination; 
  • violate the personal rights of other people, including their right to protect their image; 
  • otherwise than specified above, be contrary to the applicable legal order or morality; 
  • use profanity or other offensive content; 
  • incite or approve of dangerous behaviour; 
  • promote or advertise other entities. 
  1. The Participant is obliged to ensure that the performance of the Task and its submission to the Contest do not violate the rights of third parties, in particular personal rights, image, copyrights, and industrial property rights. The participant shall indemnify and hold harmless Organizer and its officers and employees from any damages (including actual costs of attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with any claim by a third party claiming infringement of rights or interests (including infringement of intellectual property rights) arising out of or in connection with any breach by the participant of any of third party intellectual property rights in relation with the submitted Tasks and/or their publication and use by the Organizer. 
  1. The Organizer reserves the right to delete, rectify, delete or destroy Tasks, entries and photos that violate the provisions of the Regulations. 
  1. Settlement of the Contest 
  • The evaluation of the submitted competition tasks will be made by the Organizer’s competition committee. 
  • The committee will verify whether the submitted Tasks meet the formal requirements, and will then evaluate the Contest tasks that have passed the formal verification in order to select the winner. 
  • The committee evaluates the Tasks according to its own subjective opinion, guided by the creativity of the participants. The criteria of creativity used by the competition committee are subjective and therefore, the participants are not able to contest the decisions of the competition committee. The competition committee is not obliged to issue any justification of its decisions. 
  1. The Organizer will verify the winner of the contest and will send 10 BTCV on the winning participant’s BTCV Gold Wallet address upon submission to the Organizer this particular information; 
  1. The prize will be sent by Organizer directly to the winner’s BTCV Gold Wallet. The participant may not indicate BTCV Gold Wallet addresses pertaining to any third party. 
  1. The organizer will inform the winners by way of direct message in social media profile of participant on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram not later than 14 days after publication of results at btcv.com/safety-hints-sharing.  
  1. Organizer will contact the winning participant via direct message by Twitter communicator, Facebook or Instagram. The winning Participant will then have 7 days to contact the Organizer via private message sent to: contact@btcv.com. This information should include participant’s BTCV Gold Wallet address to which the Prize should be sent. After 7 days elapse without the participant contacting Organizer, the winning participant loses the right to receive the Prize. In such a case Organizer will assume that the participant has waived the right to the Prize. 
  1. The Prize cannot be exchanged for a cash equivalent or an in-kind award. The Prize cannot be transferred to a third party by the Organizer, even at the winning participant’s request. 
  1. If third parties make claims against the Organizer for actions or omissions of the participant, which remain in connection with the Contest, the such participant will release and hold harmless the Organizer from any liability towards that third party and will cover all documented costs incurred by the Organizer in connection with these claims, including the costs of legal assistance. 
  1. The Organizer shall not be liable for the inability to conduct the Contest for reasons beyond their control or as consequence of force majeure within the meaning of the Polish Civil Code. 
  1. The Organizer’s liability towards participant is in any case limited to the value of the Prize. 
  1. The Organizer’s liability under the warranty, including the warranty for physical and legal defects of the Prize, is excluded. 
  1. If a participant would like to submit a complaint relating to the Contest, they may do so by sending a complaint to the e-mail address: developers@btcv.com 
  1. The complaint should include: 
  • the name and surname of the participant; 
  • contact details of the participant; 
  • a description of the issue that led to complaint. 
  1. The Organizer will consider the complaint no later than 30 (say: thirty) days from the date it is received and will provide the participant with an answer within the same period. 
  1. At the moment of submission of a Task to the Organizer, each participant grants the organizers a non-exclusive license with a right to sublicense for indefinite period to use the Task in the following manners, i.e. in the following field of use: 
  • Publishing the Task in full or in part on Organizer’s websites, applications, in social media (such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and others) and on other websites where Organizer may promote its activities; 
  • placing Task on the Internet, 
  • entering Task into a computer memory and into the Organizer’s own databases, 
  • Including the Task in full or in part in Organizer’s promotional materials; 
  • Using the Task to promote future contests; 
  • Using parts of the Task and compile them with other materials; 
  • Including Task or its parts in other works, such as audiovisual, multimedia, and audio; 
  • Performing modifications and adaptations of Task, i.e., exercising derivative copyrights; 
  • producing copies of the copyright works using a specific technique, including printing, reprographic, magnetic recording and digital technology, 
  • multiplication and distribution of the copyright works (and on the Internet), including on any audiovisual media, in particular on a magnetic carrier and a computer disk, and on all types of carriers intended for digital recording, 
  • the right to perform computer processing and to introduce changes and modifications to the copyright works because of the specifics of the Internet, 
  • the right to reproduce and broadcast the copyright works to the public, as well as to make them available to the public on the Internet in such a way that everyone can have access to them at a place and time chosen by them, regardless of the type and mode of operation of the device or the applications they use, 
  1. The license is granted at no remuneration (free of charge). The license may be revoked by the participant after at least one year from the date on which the license was granted. The Organizer independently determines the method, form, place and date of publication of the Tasks or copyright works containing or based on Tasks, as well as the layout and graphic layout. 
  1. In the event of a new field of use related to the contest applications that is unknown at the time the Regulations were accepted, the Participants will be obliged to transfer the rights to the Organizer in the indicated field of use without additional remuneration within 30 days of the Organizer submitting a written request.  
  1. The Regulations are governed by the Provisions of the Polish law, except where other governing law applies due to applicable overriding mandatory provisions of law. Any disputes related to the Regulations should be recognized by the courts of the registered seat of Organizer. 
  1. If any provision of the Regulations is considered invalid, ineffective, or impossible to enforce, it does not affect further provisions of the Regulations. The invalid, ineffective or unenforceable provision will be replaced by the applicable provisions of the governing law. 
  1. In the event of any disputes, the Parties will enter into negotiations in good faith in order to settle the dispute amicably.
